Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026

This policy explains what information Neuroptimize (the "App") collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The App is operated by Neuroptimize LLC ("we", "us"). It applies to the website at neuroptimize.app and to the App on every platform where we offer it.

The short version: you can play without an account, and your progress then stays on your device. If you create an account, we store your email address and your training progress so it can sync across your devices. We don't show ads, we don't use third-party analytics or tracking, and we never sell or share your personal information for advertising. You can delete your account and its data at any time from inside the App.

1. Information we collect

If you play without an account

Your training progress, settings and a random install identifier are stored only in your browser or on your device. We don't receive them. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the App, they are deleted.

If you create an account

Purchases

Payments are handled by Stripe (on the web and Windows), Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation of the purchase, the plan, its status and a customer or transaction reference. On iOS and Android, purchases are verified through RevenueCat, which receives your purchase receipts and an app user identifier (your account ID if you're signed in, otherwise a random identifier).

What we don't collect

We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data. We don't use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, or cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device, and we don't receive them.

2. How we use information

We don't use your training data to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. We don't use it to train third-party AI models.

3. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

We process your information because it's necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the App and your subscription), for our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the App, provided those interests aren't overridden by yours), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax records), or based on your consent (such as optional marketing email), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information and we don't "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only to service providers that process it for us under contracts that limit their use of it:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseAccount sign-in, database and cloud save
CloudflareWebsite hosting and content delivery
StripeWeb payments and subscription management
Apple, GoogleIn-app purchases in their app stores; optional sign-in
RevenueCatVerifying in-app purchases on iOS and Android
Zoho Corporation (Zoho Mail and ZeptoMail)Delivering sign-in codes and service email

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us, and to a successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information).

5. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. When we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep information

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. Cancel it in your store account first.

7. Your choices and rights

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Training and performance data

The App measures how you perform in games, such as your reaction speed, accuracy and memory span, and summarizes this as scores. The App is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or monitor any health condition. Some privacy laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, may treat this kind of data as consumer health data. We collect it only to provide the features you use, don't sell it, and share it only with the service providers listed above for that purpose. You can delete it at any time by deleting your account.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, up to 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our database provider. Access controls ensure each account can read and write only its own data. Sign-in uses one-time codes, so there are no passwords to leak. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify you in the App or by email before the changes take effect.
